Cars pass.

He doesn't notice.

The image loops silently.

After a long discussion... an emergency meeting... and an emotional summit conference...

Beat.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
The guys made a historic decision.

On screen:

Freeze frame — Jad screaming inside the apartment.

A stamp slams across the image.

**HOST**  
Jad's prank will not be published.

Beat.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
Not because of ethics.

He raises an eyebrow.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
Because of dignity.

Behind him:

Jad walking... slower now.

He stops.

Looks around like he forgot where he lives.

**HOST**  
Okay... the dating-show project?

Graphic appears:

Then:

The girl turned out to be a prank...  
The date turned into trauma...  
And the episode...

Beat.

He shifts slightly.

Jad, in the background, sits on a sidewalk staring at nothing.

**HOST**  
So, in short...

He counts on his fingers.

**HOST (CONT'D)**

Beat.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
Failed attempt number... we don't know anymore.

He turns suddenly toward the footage.

Watches Jad.

Silence, for the first time.

Then — back to sarcasm.

**HOST**  
The most brilliant thing about this whole experiment...

He points to Jad behind him.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
is that the hero went into a date...

Smirks.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
and came out taking a walk with himself.

Zoom on Jad behind him:

He starts walking again... in the wrong direction.

**HOST**  
And that leads us to the important question...

Beat.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
Is the problem the ideas?

Beat.

**HOST (CONT'D)**  
Or is it luck?

Beat.

**HOST (LOW)**  
Or is it both?

The walking footage glitches.

The frame repeats.

Like he's stuck in a loop.

**HOST**

A faint graphic appears:

He smiles.
