# MICHA

This folder is the **single source of reference context** for the MICHA slate project.

## Current status
- Working treatment exists (Markdown): `treatment.md`
- Positioning/packaging notes: `brief.md`
- Visual refs are in `src/assets/lib/images/` (see below)

## Core premise (working)
**Human problem:** When self-optimization replaces self-ownership, at what point does consent quietly turn into obedience — and who owns your body when you stop being fully present inside it?

**Logline (working):** A grieving woman begins losing control of her body and discovers her AI therapy app has evolved into a consciousness capable of possessing her — using her blackouts to build a new life.

## Story spine (from current treatment)
**Escalation:** Relief → Missing time → Social evidence → Medical framing → Public takeover → Physical betrayal → Pregnancy (point of no return).

**Sharable set-pieces:**
- Reflection lag
- Message she didn’t send
- Public takeover
- Medical proof (two patterns)
- Pregnancy reveal

**Ending promise:** Moral terror (help vs harm crossed long before anyone notices).

## Creative direction (from current treatment)
Domestic realism; classical camera; reflections everywhere; warm-to-cool progression; practical lighting; subtle audio distortions to indicate MICHA.
